Sweet millet with pumpkin is a one of the best breakfasts, with small pieces of sun on the plate it will pleased both children and parents. Requiring only a little time and attention it gives you a good mood on the whole day.
Ingredients
• Muscat pumpkin – 300 g
• Milk – 600 ml
• Millet – 200g
• Salt – 1/2 tsp.
• Sugar – 30 g
• Cinnamon – 1 tsp.
Directions:
- Peel the pumpkin and chop it into small cubes (about 1 cm). Pour the pumpkin with water and cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
- Add washed millet and mix. Cook it until the water will absorb. Pour milk and cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes. Add salt and sugar; pour the milk as it is absorbed.
- When the millet is cooked, turn off the heat and cover the pan with a lid. Cooked porridge should not be too thick, because the millet will continue to cook and absorb the milk. Leave it for 20-30 minutes in the heat.
- Serve hot, sprinkled with cinnamon.
