Baked Sprouts recipe

Tasty and tender sprouts in a milk sauce can be served as a side dish. It is tender but not mushy, impregnated of milky-creamy taste it is difficult to resist and do not ask for supplements. I hope you like it.

Ingredients for Baked sprouts:
  • Broccoli – 200 g
  • Cauliflower – 200 g
  • Butter – 30 g
  • Milk – 300 ml
  • Flour – 20 g
  • Sugar – 2 g
  • Salt – 1/4 tsp.
  • Cheese cream – 40 g

  • Slice the cabbage and put it in boiling salted water for 3-5 minutes. Cabbage should remain crisp. Remove from water and let it drain.
  • Prepare the sauce. Dry the flour in a pan without changing color. Put it into bowl, add butter and rub. Add warm milk, salt, sugar and stir. Bring to boil and cook for 7 minutes.
  • Put sprouts into baking dish and pour with milk sauce. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in preheated 230C oven until golden brown. Sprinkle with fresh greens before serving.
